  • Thomas Nguyen, PhD

    Dr. Nguyen is a clinical neuropsychologist and co-founder of NBHC. Dr. Nguyen received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oklahoma, master’s degree at Purdue University, and doctorate degree at the University of North Texas. He completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Dallas VA and an APPCN postdoctoral residency at the Houston VA. Most recently, he worked at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation where he served as the clinical neuropsychologist for the Day Neuro Rehabilitation Program in Las Colinas and at the outpatient clinic in downtown Dallas. Dr. Nguyen has held leadership positions in the Asian Neuropsychological Association, Vietnamese Neuropsychological Network, and the Sports Neuropsychology Society. He specializes in the neurobehavioral, cognitive, and psychiatric sequelae of neurodegenerative disorders, acquired brain injuries (TBI, stroke, brain tumors), movement disorders, and epilepsy. He has served as an independent medical examiner for forensic/medicolegal cases for the past three years. His hobbies include watching and playing sports, eating any and all types of foods, and spending time with friends and family, including his wife and three toddler children.
